Gerald Shea will be speaking on “The Sounds of Silence: dealing with deafness”
Gerald Shea has lived most of his life in New York and in Paris, and practiced law in both cities for many years. He has published internationally in legal and financial journals. He has written two books for a general audience, Song Without Words: Discovering My Deafness Halfway Through Life and The Language of Light: A History of Silent Voices. He and his wife live in Paris and spend summers in Massachusetts.
